DESCRIPTION:Time: 7.00 PM  – 8.30PM \nDate: Tuesday 18 November \nLocation: Online (Zoom) \nPresented by: Evolve Education \nPreparing neurodiverse children\, or those with a trauma background\, for the upcoming national ban of social media for 0–16-year-olds. \nCarers will leave with practical tools to: \n\nUnderstand what the social media ban will likely look like and the implications for the ban come December 2025.\nUnderstand the emotional and developmental needs driving social media use\nRespond in ways that reduce conflict while increasing safety\nSet healthy\, respectful boundaries even in high-emotion moments\nSupport digital connection while minimising digital harm\nPrepare children for the upcoming social media ban with empathy and structure\nTailor their approach to children with trauma histories or who are neurodivergent\n\nEvolve’s trainers are trusted eSafety providers with a high level of industry experience and a Bachelor of Education background. They have a background of working in and with schools and acknowledge the unique challenges families currently face in the digital space. They have been providing digital safety and wellbeing programs to Carer Kafe for over 3 years. \nThe session is designed for kinship\, foster and permanent carers.
