DESCRIPTION:Time: 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM \nDate: Saturday 21 March 2026 \nLocation: Online (Zoom) \nPresented by: Lorren Arezio\, Clinical Psychologist \nBy participating in this webinar\, you will: \n\nExplore the difference between relational vs behavioural caregiving approaches.\nExplore how DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Practice) and PACE (Playfulness\, Acceptance\, Curiosity and Empathy) fit with the needs of children and young people who have experienced early relational trauma and whose brains and nervous systems have been adversely impacted.\nUnderstand what makes it hard for these kids to trust adults who are caring for them.\nExplore the challenges in needing to both nurture but also to set safe limits and boundaries and the challenges in this when children have not experienced this in the past.\nExplore what it looks like to create safety in relationships and caregiving.\nProblem solve some ideas about differing strategies to think about as well as some of the challenges.\n\nThis webinar is presented by Brisbane based Clinical Psychologist Lorren Arezio. She has worked in the area of relational trauma\, child protection and family stress and disruption for over 20 years\, providing therapy and support to children\, adults and families in both government and private settings. She works from a trauma and attachment lens and is an accredited DDP and PACE Trainer. She is also a wife and mother of 3 now adult children\, the youngest of whom was adopted.
