Q & A will be embedded throughout the session. \nThis session is presented by Megan Corcoran\, Director of the Wagtail Institute and trauma-informed wellbeing consultant. Megan is an experienced teacher\, leader\, university lecturer and workshop facilitator. You’ll gain insights into how disability is defined\, understand the evidence that influences decisions\, and learn the best language to use for optimal outcomes. We’ll even provide you with templates and tools to gather information and effectively communicate the needs of your child/ren to NDIS decision makers. \nThese workshops have been presented to over 2\,500 people since 2018. They have all been co-delivered by Mark Ryan from the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare\, together with a member of the education team at the Association for Children with a Disability. This experience is complimented by degrees in welfare\, education\, counselling and suicidology.
