Big Feelings, Behaviour and Regulation

By participating in this webinar, carers will:

  • gain a deeper understanding of the origins of dysregulation, big feelings, and challenging behaviour;
  • feel more equipped to respond to dysregulation in a way that preserves relationship and influence, and hold strong loving boundaries;
  • proactively support young people and implement practices that minimise the incidents of challenging behaviour;
  • learn how to respond to challenging behaviour and violence from young people.

This webinar is presented by Karen Young, who began her career as a psychologist in private practice and is now recognised as a leading authority on child and adolescent anxiety. Karen created Hey Sigmund, an internationally popular online resource, is the author of 5 books, has appeared on television and radio, and has proven popular in presenting previous Carer Kafe webinars
