Presented by: ACD – Advocating for childen with disability.

This 2.5-hour workshop will give you the information you need to start the conversation, whilst exploring:

• Children’s rights in education
• Reasonable adjustments: what they are and what you can ask for
• School processes
• Student support plans
• Time for questions and answers

This session is presented by ACD – Advocating for children with disability.
ACD’s professional facilitators are parents of children with disability who have personal experience advocating for their children. The workshop content is based on Department of Education resources.

The session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers.
