By participating in this webinar, carers will:
- understand the origin of feelings, behaviour, and regulation;
- respond effectively when young people are dysregulated
- hold strong, loving boundaries while preserving influence, connection, and felt safety;
- understand how to respond when there is a boundary or relational collision in ways that preserve relational safety;
- the origins of challenging behaviour and how to respond effectively;
- proactively support young people and implement practices that minimise the incidents of challenging behaviour.

This workshop is presented by Karen Young, who began her career as a psychologist in private practice and is now recognised as a leading authority on child and adolescent anxiety. Karen created Hey Sigmund – Building Courage in Kids & Teens With Anxiety, an internationally popular online resource, is the author of 5 books, has appeared on television and radio, and has proven popular in presenting previous Carer Kafe webinars.
