Caring for the Carer: A Wellbeing Toolkit for Carers

Thursday 6 March

10am – 12.30pm

Zoom online

Join Megan Corcoran for a 2.5-hour webinar that will focus on the importance of your self-care. In this session, carers will learn:

  • Strategies to nurture your compassion and prevent fatigue
  • Positive psychology interventions that you can embed into your day to enhance wellbeing
  • Strategies to support yourself during stressful days and challenging moments
  • The benefits of peer support with the opportunity to connect with other carers during the session

This session is presented by Megan Corcoran, Director of the Wagtail Institute and trauma-informed wellbeing consultant. Megan is an experienced teacher, leader, university lecturer and workshop facilitator. Megan has successfully presented this content for Carer Kafe in previous retreats and workshops where carers have reported improved confidence in applying self-care strategies, managing stress, and a greater sense of connection with peers.
