FASD and Education: Supporting your child with FASD at school

Time: 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM

Date: Saturday 30 May

Location: Online (Zoom)

Presented by: NOFASD – National Organisation for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

This session will include a brief introduction to FASD, followed by an in depth focus on the specific topic area.

NOFASD Australia will provide carers with practical information, strategies and confidence to support individuals living with FASD in the school environment – and to work effectively with educators to promote learning, inclusion, and wellbeing.

The National Organisation for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (NOFASD) Australia is the oldest established FASD organisation in Australia. Founded and led by parents and carers for more than 20 years. NOFASD has been delivering workshops to community organisations for nearly 10 years.

The session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers.
