Grief and Loss, Carer Health and Wellbeing

I never thought I’d be a carer

Date: Monday 7 April

Time: 10.30am – 12pm

Location: Online via Zoom

Caring for a child can be joyful and rewarding, however, carers can also face challenges, grief, and loss in this crucial role. Join Griefline for a conversation with a lived experience Kinship Carer, touching on topics including grief, social and identity shifts, and support.

This webinar aims to empower carers with knowledge, tools, and strategies to better understand and navigate these experiences.

As with all other Carer Kafe training, we encourage you to have your camera on to fully participate in the session, and that you reach out to Carer Kafe and/or visit griefline.org.au if the session triggers strong emotions or memories in you.

The session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers.

Learning and Development Sessions

Carer Kafe offers free online and in person sessions for Victorian kinship, permanent and accredited foster carers.
