Express Your Interest in the Kinship Carer Learning & Development Retreat

Join Carer Kafe for an enriching two-day Learning and Development Retreat on the traditional lands of the Bunurong people.
Connect with fellow carers and gain insights from expert presenters through an engaging conference program in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Victorian home-based kinship carers are invited to apply by 5 January 2026 via the Expression of Interest Form below.

Eligibility to attend:

  • Kinship carers
  • Kinship carers who have not attended a Carer Kafe Learning & Development Retreat in the past 12 months will be prioritized. However, carers who attended within the last 12 months may still apply in case vacancies occur.
  • More than one adult per carer household may apply; however, priority will be given to one person per carer household.

What is included?

  • All learning and development sessions
  • All meals
  • One night’s accommodation (unless distances over 4 hours each way are travelled and an arrangement with Carer Kafe is made)
  • $300 voucher to help with associated costs of attending
