VACCA Cultural Day – Royal Botanical Gardens

This is a free event for both carers of Aboriginal children and carers of non-Aboriginal children

Date: Thursday 26th November 2026

Time: 10.30AM – 1.30PM

Location: Royal Botanical Gardens, Birdwood Avenue, VIC 3000

Join other carers of Aboriginal children for a day of connection, learning, and yarning on Kulin Nation Country. Guided by a First Nations facilitator, carers will learn about native plants, culture, and ongoing connection to Country, while building relationships and confidence to support Aboriginal children’s identity and wellbeing

A $50 digital gift voucher will be emailed to you after the session to assist with travel and childcare costs.

The session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers.
