This session in Noble Park North, will enable carers to focus on their personal well-being and self-care through creative and mindful activities. Participants will enjoy creative processes that encourage relaxation, self-reflection and connection with peers in similar caregiving roles.

Time: 10.00 am – 2.00 pm (A delicious morning tea & lunch will be provided)

Venue: Jan Wilson Community Centre, 92 Halton Road, NOBLE PARK NORTH, VIC 3174 – Meeting room 1

Travel & parking: 3 bus lines from Noble Park train station plus a 15 min walk; 3 bus lines from Dandenong train station plus a 15 min walk.; Ample parking including dedicated accessibility parking bays.

A 2-part introductory workshop on caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Presented by VACCA. Strengthening Cultural Connections reflects a wide range of topics and information that non-Aboriginal carers need when caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
