Creative Art & Self-Care 1st April

Join us for an enriching creative art and self-care experience designed for foster, kinship, and permanent carers.

We invite you to:

  • Express your unconscious thoughts, worries, and grief.
  • Take a moment to pause and care for yourself
  • Honour the incredible contributions you make to the lives of children, young people, and families.

Self-care is about self-preservation. It is a form of empowerment and an act of valuing yourself. Self-care can be challenging if it is not a practice that you are used to. However, with practice, it could absolutely be a way to give compassion to all parts of ourselves.

What to Expect

These online sessions will be facilitated by Tessa and Deb from FCAV and include engaging visual art activities-no art skills or experience required! Each session will offer a different creative art experience, and we encourage you to attend them all.

Learn how creative art benefits you and can positively impact the children and young people in your care and have an opportunity to connect with other foster carers. Take this time for you and discover the power of creativity and connection.

Creative art packs will be sent to you before the sessions. Funded by Carer Kafe.
