Mindfulness & Creative Arts Therapy – Geelong

Date: Friday 22nd May

Time: 10.00 AM – 2:00 PM (A delicious morning tea & lunch will be provided)

Location: Platform Arts, 60 Little Malop Street, GEELONG, VIC 3220 – Upstairs via lift access

Travel & parking: 10-minute walk from Geelong railway station; Nearby metered street parking; Commercial car parks at 16 & 21 Gheringhap Street; Dedicated accessibility parking bays right outside the venue on Little Malop/Gheringhap Street.

Participation at this session will enable carers to focus on their personal well-being and self-care through creative and mindful activities. Carers will enjoy creative processes that encourage relaxation, self-reflection and connection with peers in similar caregiving roles.

Carers who have joined these sessions in the past have walked away feeling inspired, supported, and genuinely enriched by the experience.

Facilitators Fiona and Sara, 2 Masters qualified, professionally registered trauma-informed Arts Therapists, will ensure a safe and welcoming space for carers, with practical takeaways to reinforce well-being at home.

A $50 digital gift card will be emailed to you after the session to assist with travel and babysitting costs.

The session is designed for kinship, foster and permanent carers
