This webinar will give carers practical strategies to support young people in safely navigating their relationships, understanding consent, identifying harmful behaviours and seeking support when required.
As a result of participation in this webinar carers will:
- Understand healthy, respectful and consensual relationship behaviours
- Feel more confident discussing sexuality, consent and boundaries with young people
- Recognise warning signs of grooming, coercive control and exploitation
- Better understand online risks including AI companion apps, image-based abuse and deepfake technologies
- Learn practical strategies to support young people navigating digital relationships
- Increase their confidence in responding to disclosures and concerns
- Understand pathways for referral, support and reporting
- Strengthen protective family environments that promote safety and wellbeing
