This webinar will give carers practical strategies to support young people in safely navigating their relationships, understanding consent, identifying harmful behaviours and seeking support when required.

As a result of participation in this webinar carers will:

  • Understand healthy, respectful and consensual relationship behaviours
  • Feel more confident discussing sexuality, consent and boundaries with young people
  • Recognise warning signs of grooming, coercive control and exploitation
  • Better understand online risks including AI companion apps, image-based abuse and deepfake technologies
  • Learn practical strategies to support young people navigating digital relationships
  • Increase their confidence in responding to disclosures and concerns
  • Understand pathways for referral, support and reporting
  • Strengthen protective family environments that promote safety and wellbeing
